| exiled taboos - a collaboration with the people without papers from the kerkasiel, antwerp. Which are the taboos carried by people who don't have a permission to stay? Exiled taboos from asylum seekers, how they act when they encounter themselves trapped in a difficult situation. We met through weekly workshops where we drew, talked and had interviews. After a few month the harshness of their daily struggle was made visible through an installation. Fragments of talks, drawings and stories are the footage for this work.
